Looking for park hosts to share duties. Greet and assist visitors, make reservations, light maintenance work, maintain restrooms, etc.
This is a volunteer position and must have own RV.
Camp host benefits: campsite and all utilities at no charge for the duration.
Dam Site RV Park is maintained and operated by the City of Bull Shoals. We have 33 sites; each site has either 30 or 50 amp. electrical service, water, picnic table, and a fire pit. The park offers WiFi, clean washrooms with showers, plenty of shade at each site, and a dumping station. A playground, various covered picnic tables and large areas for kicking around a ball, Frisbee, and other yard games are available. The park is located next to Bull Shoals Lake. The boat launch and shoreline fishing access is within walking distance.
The park is open April 1st through October 30th.
Job description for Camp Host
Serve as a liaison between park users, and city of Bull Shoals.
Greet and assist visitors, make reservations, collect the money and assist them to locate their site, if needed.
Keep a daily log on how payments are received and sites used.
Will perform light maintenance work around the campsites such as litter pickup, sweeping, cleaning and stocking restrooms; provide information to park maintenance personal to potential problems.
Host will not attempt to discipline or apprehend any park violators. Host will report all disturbances to the police. LAW ENFORCEMENT WILL BE DONE BY BULL SHOALS POLICE DEPT.
You are to inform the campers of the rules and regulations printed on the sheet as they register.
Host must keep their site in good, clean order.
Host needs to work weekends and holidays. If host needs time away, Park chairman needs to be notified. We realize everyone needs time away. Our busy time is Thursday through Sunday.
