Job Description

Campground Host required for RV Park from May 1 – September 30.  Responsible for performing a wide variety of duties including booking of campsite reservations on computer program, providing support to guests, maintaining exceptional cleanliness of all facilities.  Applicants must be able to work days, evenings and weekends.  

Office Responsibilities:  answering and responding to phone and email inquiries, taking reservations, checking guests in and out, cash handling, store and rentals, providing outstanding customer services to all guests.  Ensuring guest are following the rules.

Cleaning:  maintaining exceptional cleanliness of office, laundry room, bathrooms, gazebo

Goundskeeping:  preparing campsites for check-in and maintaining grounds cleanliness (litter pickup, raking, weeding, washing picnic tables, watering flowers).  Some mowing/weeding and completing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Applicants must be energetic, friendly, create and have a positive outgoing attitude
  • Relevant office or reception experience preferred but not necessary
  • High School Graduate
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-Motivated and able to take initiative without direct supervision
  • Appearance must be neat, clean and professional
  • Security Clearance Required upon offer of employment
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties
  • Requires grasping, using tools, writing, standing, sitting, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
